The Barclays Center is the Brooklyn arena that came into being in 2012. The arena hosts the NBA team Brooklyn Nets (the rivals of the Knicks, who play at Madison Square Garden) but also the hockey team Islanders, rivals of the New York Rangers. Many concerts are also organized there, Beyoncé, MGMT and Bob Dylan are regulars. Jay-Z too, in fact the Brooklyn rapper was the first to perform on the Barclays stage a week after it opened. Until 2013, Jay-Z was also one of the shareholders of the Nets franchise.

This is the home of the Giants and Jets American football teams, located in New Jersey but which represent the colours of New York. In February 2014, the stadium hosted the Super Bowl XLVIII, the final of the American football championship, the country's largest sporting event. There is no subway to MetLife Stadium, but it can be reached by New Jersey Transit or Long Island Rail Road commuter trains from Penn Station, or by Metro-North RailRoad from Grand Central Terminal.

This is the city's stadium, which was inaugurated in 1975. Whether you want to watch the Hartford Wolf Pack (the town's hockey team) play, support the UConn Huskies (the basketball team representing the University of Connecticut), attend a pop concert or a professional wrestling match, the XL Center is the place to be in Hartford. Unlike many stadiums, it has the advantage of being located in the heart of downtown, close to the train station, so you can walk to it. On match nights, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.
