This beach restaurant opened in 1964 for bird hunters and is still run by the same family. It is typically the kind of beachside restaurant one would want to find on vacation. You dine with your feet in the sand and the food, although simple, is of excellent quality and prepared only with products from Paros. Don't forget to ask for the grilled fish, absolutely delicious. And the fava, beet and bread spreads are not to be outdone. Finally, not to spoil anything, the prices had the good taste to remain very low.

Original, simple and tasty Italian cuisine offered on a shaded terrace. The managers are two Italians and a Greek who speaks French (Maria). The atmosphere is very friendly and lively, and the locals come here regularly. Free wireless internet (during the day). Parking provided. Purchase of handmade ceramics on site. If you are in Mykonos at the end of October, the pasta and music festival takes place there for two days. Take-away food and a hearty breakfast that you can have on your way to the beaches in the south-east of the island. Nice address.

This gourmet restaurant boasts an absolutely stunning panorama not only of the crater, but also of the surrounding cliffs, with villages gleaming white like snow-capped peaks. You won't be disappointed with the trip and this little stopover. Moreover, the service is personal and friendly, and the prices are low. Useful note: if an ingredient is missing, the dish is not served, which is an honest guarantee of freshness. We could direct you between land and sea, but here everything is good, so bon appétit!

A great find, with low prices, off the beaten tourist track. This small tavern simply serves traditional and delicious dishes (salads, stuffed vegetables, stews). Almost all the ingredients (including cheese and sausage) are produced by the owners and you can feel it on your plate. Moreover, the house also sells some local products to all those who would like to stock up. And the welcome, in this flowered space, in the middle of aromatic herbs, adds to the charm of the place!

We loved the spicy ceviche, the delicate clam pasta and the puffed chocolate cake, hidden in a cloud of barbapapa! The Porto Carras 2021 white wine also deserves a special mention. This gourmet restaurant inside the Mythis Paros Hotel boasts an incredible panoramic view of the sea. But the real show is on the plate: ceviche with passion fruit and tiger's milk, octopus with fennel root, sea bass with blue potato, corn and yucca, or spicy oxtail that has simmered for 48 hours... All washed down with a few glasses of Moraitis and Dialogos wines. A real treat!

We come here off the beaten track and away from mass tourism to enjoy a quiet lunch. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the dishes are prepared with taste and simplicity, without hiding behind superficial frills. Just ask for the katsikaki, a delicious kid with lemon. An off-the-beaten-track address that never fails to fill up. This tavern has been in existence since 1948, as indicated on the front. It serves traditional Greek and Corfiote dishes, with fresh meat and fish. It's above all the picturesque atmosphere of the establishment, thanks to its proximity to the sea and the Greek families who eat there, that makes it a singular place. A little pricey for a tavern, though. The owner is adorable and speaks a little French. Delicious, typical and affordable dishes. A quiet moment by the sea.

This family-run tavern is the place to go for a meal in the village of Lakones. Like its neighboring establishments, it offers a small terrace with a breathtaking view of the bay and a wide choice of home-cooked dishes. Prices may be a little steep compared with other restaurants in the area, but there's a good selection on offer: stifado, lamb kebabs, the inevitable horiatiki, as well as homemade desserts such as the excellent lemon tart or the moist orange cake. Finally, the service is excellent.

You'll be able to sample all the most traditional Corfu recipes, as well as creative Greek dishes such as lamb cooked in a lemon sauce, Samiotiko (a pork tenderloin with sesame seeds in a Samos wine sauce) and much more. There's a lovely view of the sea and the property is very pleasant. The little extra when we dropped in: sticks of citronella essential oil, perfect for keeping the mosquitoes at bay!

Excellent family restaurant by the sea. Simple, quality cuisine and impeccable service. This place had been recommended to us by locals because the food, we were told, was delicious, with breathtaking sunsets. Very true. We booked a table on the terrace. The homemade tzatziki was fabulous, as was the seafood, which was very tasty. The staff were lovely, attentive and friendly. Highly recommended, with excellent value for money and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere.

A real Italian cheap in Gouvia. The establishment is one of the restaurants not to be missed in the area. The pizzas are based on local products and are very hearty. The pastas are also fantastic, especially the shrimp ones! The seafood pasta is just perfect and the scampi is cooked just right. The salads are extraordinarily fresh, the bruschettas are great, and of course the tiramisu is the crowning touch... In the summer, the place is quickly taken by storm. It is better to reserve!

First for the setting and the breathtaking view of one of the island's must-see spots, the church of Pontikonisi, and the spectacular aircraft landings nearby. Among the latest addresses to open, this one hides in an elegant courtyard in Argostoli. Terre Mouikis is a bar-restaurant that's causing a stir with its modern, refined cuisine and creative cocktails. The menu by Cephalonian chef Asimakis Chaniotis (formerly of London's Michelin-starred Pied à Terre) features quality local produce and locally inspired recipes, such as the "riganada" of fresh tomatoes and wild oregano, with garlic and feta mousse and pan-fried squid: a version of the traditional Cephalonian meat pie.

Ideal for dining, as the view of the sea and sunset is magnificent. On the small pier perched on the water's edge, a varied menu featuring traditional Greek cuisine, fish and seafood (including grilled squid and sea bream), fresh shellfish and a choice of meat dishes. But above all, ask to see the day's catch, brought in by Nikolakis and Georgotzis, the two local boats. At the end of the meal, we were offered a phenomenal homemade kumquat liqueur. The service is very professional and friendly.

Open your taste buds wide, you're in for a treat. To begin with, you have to choose between sitting in an old grocery store, with a lush decoration made of luminous colanders, lanterns, jam jars and vintage cans, and the annex set up just across the street in a sort of barnum on stilts. In any case, you can eat very well for cheap: shrimps sagnaki, tarama, tuna rillettes, everything is to fall. Very good white wine also with the Antithessi produced in the Parissi winery, the best vineyard of the island.

Small and nice pizzeria with a view of the port that makes a nice change from the usual Greek cuisine. The specialty of the house is the pizza vesuviana with spicy salami, onions and mozarella, but we preferred to opt for a garlic bread with cheese, succulent tagliatelle with salmon and especially for a mushroom risotto with parmesan and porcini powder to fall on the ground. Not forgetting the little tiramisu that goes well to finish. The whole went very well with the small dry white wine of Corinth of the owner, we enjoyed ourselves.
