This huge marina, in the hollow of the bay, is famous in the Gulf of Kvarner. It welcomes yachtsmen, with a harbour master's office open all year round, several services, boat maintenance and repair, a dry dock, a laundry, a car park, a restaurant, seasonal rentals (boats, accommodation on land), a large hotel, a café-bar-restaurant, free wifi, tennis courts, a pharmacy, shops... In short, a whole district reconstituted around the marina and the shipyards!

If you are not tempted by the days at sea, organized by excursionists, you can take the taxi-boat option. On the taxi-boat Bura, a father and son work together. On the quayside, near the Falkensteiner Hotel Park, their small boat makes the rotation with the islet of Košljun. The crossing lasts about 15 minutes, until you reach the secure pier in front of the monastery's ticket office. You agree with them on the time you want to return to Punat. Same service for the port of Krk.

Tired of crowded beaches? Water cabs can take you to coves between Vela and Mala luka, Storišće, Vrženica, Dubna, Konjska, Gnjilova and further afield, by reservation, to Goli Island, Grgur Island, Rab Island, Senj, Stara Baška... They'll return to pick you up at around your own time! As for the King boat, it runs on solar energy, a fuel that's very popular here in summer! This way, you don't have to worry so much about getting out on the water with a motorboat! A friendly welcome and the feeling of being a real yachtsman (maximum 6 people).

Thanks to its natural shallow gully, an important marina is located in the Gulf of Kvarner. The proximity of the old port and the lively, authentic quays that hug the bay add to its appeal.

Open from the end of March to the end of September, this island aerodrome is located on a peninsula near Ćunski. For the tourist season, it serves the cities of Zagreb, Pula, Rijeka, Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik, Lugano in Switzerland, several Italian cities but also Belgrade, Vienna, Munich. Established in 2017 in Split, the private shipping company has quickly found its stride. Its fleet of fast and comfortable catamarans operates high-speed routes: Pula, (Unije-Susak), Mali Lošinj (Ilovik-Silba), Zadar. In addition to coastal shipping, Catamaran Line organizes sea transfers to Split (Resnik airport and ferry port) as well as private crossings or group excursions (upon reservation).

A marina in front of the historic city which is open from April to October (VHF channel: 17). Another marina, Supetarska Draga 454, well sheltered in an inlet in the north of the island (Kampor), is more extensive. Open all year round, it has 328 berths and 53 spaces for dry boats. Nearby, all the equipment for boaters, the captain's office, repair for equipment, shops, cafés-bars-restaurants.

The local shipping company (Rapska plovidba d.d.), which is based on the island, is mainly engaged in connecting Rab with the mainland. The departureruns all year round between the port of Rab and the port of Tovarnele (Lun), on the northern part of the island of Pag. The boat carries passengers and bicycles only. No cars or motorised two-wheelers. The rate of weekly rotations increases in the summer season, and the boats can quickly be full. The return trips can also be disrupted if the weather is bad, but this is rare in summer.

There are many buses on the island, which is connected to the Dubrovnik regional network via ferries from Orebič (Pelješac). One to two daily buses in tourist season to Dubrovnik, one bus to Zagreb via Split. Several buses a day to Vela Luka pass by the inland road to serve the villages of Žrnovo, Pupnat, Čara, Smokvica and Blato. A bus almost every hour during the day to Lumbarda and a few buses a day to Račišće and Kneža.

All year round (10 times a day and more), the company transports passengers and vehicles from Orebić (Pelješac) to Korčula Dominče (3 km east of the town center). See website for timetables. From early June to late September, the Jadrolinija runs from Vela Luka to Lastovo, Hvar and Split several times a week. For Split, Brač and Hvar, it's even several times a day. Book your tickets in advance. A catamaran to Split also departs from Dominče.

On the island of Mljet, there is a bus service, but the runs are not frequent and there are only two lines (Saplunara-Sobra and Pomena-Sobra). So, for those who are not motorized, it is useful to have the contact of this good collective cab service, both for long and short distances, such as getting from Polače to Pomena or Sobra for the ferry. We will pick you up wherever you want (upon reservation). To share the ride with people making the same journey as you, one can contact the tourist office.

The national ferry company Jadrolinija charters a ferry from Prapratno (Pelješac) to Sobra in all seasons. The trip takes 45 minutes, and it is possible to take your car with you. There are several ferries per day. Please note that in the summer, the number of available places for cars on Croatian ferries may be limited due to the large number of tourists. It is not possible to reserve a seat in advance, so you must arrive well in advance at the boarding point. If you miss the last ferry, you will have to stay on the island.

Rijeka Airport is located on Krk Island, near the village of Omišalj. The island is connected to the mainland by a bridge, so Rijeka, Opatija, Crikvenica and the main towns of the island are easily accessible. You can rent a car at the airport and start your island stay without having to go through urban areas. The airport welcomes Croatia Airlines as well as Ryanair, Air Berlin, Volotea. Buses and taxis provide transfers to Rijeka.
