Getting around by boat and ferry Patagonie

Navimag was founded in 1979 to connect the regions of Aysén and Magallanes in the south of Chile with the rest of the country. This catamaran makes the trip on Lake Pehoe. From December to March, it leaves several times a day from Pudeto. One trip is in the middle of the morning and the other at the end of the day. From April to August, departures are less frequent. This 30-minute boat ride allows you to finish your trip in the W if you started from the Amarga Lagoon and do not want to go around the lake following the Grey River to the administration. The other option is to enter the park to start your excursion towards the lake and Grey glacier or the Francés valley.

Departures every day to Porvenir from Punta Arenas crossed every day usually around 9:00-9:30, but once or twice a week in the afternoon around 16:00. From November to March, the company offers crossings from Punta Arenas to Isla Magdalena and its colony of 130,000 Magellanic penguins.
