Here, in open skies, the 2013 edition featured the plays of Marc Camoletti, Xavier Duranger, Philippe Claudel, Farcical, Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, and the Chopin music, the comic opera Marseille my love, a lyric concert, El Botcho… An enchantment! Tickets can be purchased on site, but we recommend reserving in advance for the chance to see these shows. Take advantage of the museum and the gardens!

It's the time of year eagerly awaited by cinephiles and 7th art professionals alike: the Cannes Film Festival. Born in 1939 in a spirit of freedom and avant-garde to counter Nazi domination of the Venice Mostra, the event has become a benchmark for international cinema. For its 77th edition, from May 14 to 25, the climb up the mythical steps, the celebrities around every corner and the festive evenings will once again create a glittering, glittering atmosphere.

For its third edition, the Garden Festival invites visitors to discover the French Riviera on a dreamlike journey along the fragrant paths of "artists' gardens", the theme this year. In Antibes, Cannes, Grasse, Menton and Nice, as well as in Monaco, numerous events are organized and no less than thirteen landscape creations will be competing for one of the seven prizes awarded. Nature lovers will also appreciate the ephemeral gardens outside the competition in Cap d'Ail, Mandelieu-La Napoule and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.

Since 1960, the best jazzmen and jazzwomen in the world have brought their instruments and voices to Juan-les-Pins, offering the public a high level of jazz. On the stage of the Pinède Gould against the backdrop of the sea, legendary artists such as Ray Charles, Miles Davis or Ella Fitzgerald have made the festival a must for jazz lovers. In addition to the main festival, free concerts by local musicians are held in various venues around the city.

More than 60 free concerts and entertainment, three days of musical excitement, a space dedicated to the very young and nearly 50,000 visitors: C'est pas Classique has become the great musical event of the fall! The objective? To introduce or rediscover to the public the full breadth and variety of the classical repertoire, performed by artists and ensembles of local and international renown, an event awaited by young and old alike, including, since last year, the opening of a Baby Muses space for children aged 0 to 3. Don't miss the 15th edition to be held in November 2019 at the Acropolis Palace!

For more than 20 years, this festival has become a summer must! Les folies des lacs, are free concerts, under the open sky, organized in the exceptional natural setting of the commune of Valdeblore-La Colmiane. The public is numerous each year to come and listen to classical music, jazz and world music around the lake of La Colmiane but also around the lake Nègre. A musical festival out of the ordinary, where the public is as varied as the musical genres offered: tourists, locals or simply curious, everyone will find something to satisfy them!

Created in 1985 by the late great Jean-Claude Brialy and Jacqueline Franjou as a tribute to Gérard Philipe, this festival lasts twelve days, from the end of July to mid-August. It is held in an exceptional setting, the Théâtre de Verdure, and sees classical or contemporary plays being performed, alternating with singing tours by French variety artists and renowned comedians. Since 2007, Michel Boujenah is the artistic director of the festival.
