Since 1960, a steady stream of the world's best jazzmen and jazzwomen have brought their instruments and voices to Juan-les-Pins, offering the public a high level of jazz. On the stage of the Pinède Gould - the stage has a backdrop of the sea and is framed by umbrella pines - such legendary artists as Ray Charles, Miles Davis and Ella Fitzgerald have made the festival a must for jazz lovers.
