On this adorable little beach of the Ladies, a seaside art of the beginning of the 19th century remains, largely reinforced by the white wooden beach huts which border it. Embellished by the proximity of the Bois de la Chaize, embalmed from February by the mimosas in bloom, the Plage des Dames, the darling of the Nantaise and then the Parisian women, remains the most exclusive beach of the department. It was the location of the film " Le Petit Nicolas"; beach and shops were revamped for the occasion.

Equipped with a helmet, you will appreciate the feeling of gliding and freedom, not to mention the magnificent panorama. The school offers training courses or discovery sessions. Several sites of rolling: L'Épine and especially on the commune of Barbâtre which has the most beautiful beaches for the practice of this activity, but the school is transported with the liking of the winds and the tide.

Courses and training courses are held on the beach of Fromentine unlike the other activities which are on the island of Noirmoutier between the beach of Midi, the port of Morin, the Perles du Devin.

ALFALFA BEACH
Read moreLocated in the northwest of the island, south of L'Herbaudière, this beach is accessed by a dune path. A small rocky bay that extends its sandy strip to L'Épine. It is one of the largest beaches on the island of Noirmoutier. Bordered by dunes and the woods of Luzéronde, the environment is totally preserved. The beach of Luzeronde is the only naturist beach on the island (it is the southern part, from the blockhouse). We cultivate a different style here since naturism and conviviality are required. It is famous for being one of the most pleasant naturist beaches in the Vendée!

Within its walls, a 25 m swimming pool, a large bath dedicated to swimmers and learners. On the relaxation side, adults are invited to recharge their batteries in a sauna and a bubble bath, while the younger ones can enjoy the slide. And to extend the visit, aquatic activities are held every week with the aim of getting back into shape (aquagym, etc.).

Read moreSeveral water activities: jet-ski, towed buoy, gyropod. For the scooter, initiation from 16 years old. Rental with or without a licence, with briefing and supervision. 3-seater jet-skis for more stability and comfort. Holders of a coastal licence can rent a jet-ski with a 110CV or 180CV licence. Just as fun, the towed buoy (capacity 6 people), ideal to practice with friends or for a bachelor party. You can leave the water for dry land by renting a gyropod! It requires a bit of stability, but you'll soon get the hang of it!
SURFSKI EVOLUTION
Read moreThis school, located at the foot of the Huttopia campsite, offers introductory surfskiing trips and hikes departing from the Sableaux beach. Basically, surfskiing is a "rescue" board sport that originated in Australia. As a family or with friends, book your 2-hour "Discovery of the Bois de la Chaise beaches" tour with an instructor (equipment supplied, maximum 7, for children aged 10 and over). From April to October, the school travels around the island and its surroundings, changing location according to weather conditions.

Read moreAnse Rouge beach is located in the northeast of the island. It's a small cove facing east, with the well-known Plage des Dames to its right. The best way to discover Anse Rouge beach is by bike. Take the allée des Soupirs from avenue du Maréchal-Joffre. A few steps lead up to this cove. This is undoubtedly one of the most unspoilt coves on the island. The beach at Anse-Rouge is dominated by the lighthouse-like Tour Plantier (privately owned), offering a truly picture-postcard landscape.
LA PLAGE DES SOUZEAUX
Read morePlage des Souzeaux is located in the northeast of the island of Noirmoutier, not far from Anse Rouge beach. In the pretty Bois de la Chaise district, you'll find small, sheltered coves overlooking the Baie de Bourgneuf. The Souzeaux beach is lined with majestic villas; together with the Anse Rouge beach, characterized by bathing cabins, they are very characteristic of the island. It's a little-known beach because it's not very accessible, but it has an intimate, privileged feel to it. A truly lovely beach.
MULTIVOILE
Read moreThis multi-sailing school is located on Plage des Dames, right next to La Potinière restaurant, and offers fully independent rental of catamarans, dinghies, sea kayaks, paddles and giant paddles. But if you're not up to speed with these nautical activities, you can also take private, introductory or advanced lessons with state-certified instructors (BPJEPS) in the following disciplines: paddle, catamaran and dinghy. Every Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., there's a supervised kayak trip.

A two-hour outing with three different itineraries: half-day, full-day or customized: the Boisé itinerary, the Grand Large itinerary or the Évasion itinerary, which offers a full-day outing to discover the Anse de la Madeleine, the Vieil and Mardi-Gras beaches, the Bois de la Chaise, its pretty coves and mythical beach cabins. Enjoy lunch in the shelter of the Ile du Pilier, before continuing your discovery of the island with the magnificent Luzéronde beach, the Pointe du Devin, the Port du Morin, the beaches of l'Épine and la Guérinière, their windmills and the Bois des Éloux. Read moreIf you're interested in scuba diving, this facility offers several types of activities. You can start with a snorkeling tour. Equipment is provided on site. You'll see many species of fish, shellfish and crustaceans. For the first dive, you'll take a boat out to Pilier Island. You'll dive with an instructor for around 20 minutes in the water, at a depth of up to 6 m. We also offer the Discovery package. This course includes an introduction to diving in the sea and two dives to learn the basics of equipment, underwater movement and personal diving safety.
