The only four-star hotel in the immediate vicinity of Périgueux, in a quiet location in a beautiful wooded park. A good table also.
Close to the site of the abbey of Chancelade, the vast building exudes a romantic charm. Hundred-year-old trees adorn the beautiful park surrounding the castle and the Orangery. The Napoleon III period hotel and its adjacent residence have all the assets to seduce: spa, tennis court, fitness room... and luxurious rooms. For this 4-star hotel near Périgueux, the central location in Périgord is ideal! Note their two very good restaurants: the gastronomic restaurant of the castle, and the bistronomic La Verrière.

Nous avons été parfaitement accueillis, la chambre entièrement refaite était très propre.
La literie confortable, le petit déjeuner était également parfait avec des produits de qualité.
Tout petit bémol un seul gel douche pour deux, pas de savon pour se laver les mains et un seul thé menthe pour deux... sinon tout était parfait.

The room selected was classic, so it was pretty descent still

Facilties excellent the sauna spa nice clean all working perfect consider 28€ per personne 2 hours
If you left your swimming trunk, no worries, they have 1 for you at a cost of €10
Wifi is a good strong signal and lots of parking space
Breakfast was nice, fresh continental.

Pour ne rien gâcher, en 10 mns, nous sommes au centre ville de Périgueux. Pas très loin aussi du restaurant la table de pouyaud, très intéressant.
