Established for many generations, you can visit the winery or their boutique in Nouvelle Place.
An old Sancerre family, the Fouassiers have played an essential role in the vineyard for generations. As early as 1924, Jules Fouassier was bottling his own wine. Today, the 9th and 10th generations produce cuvées from 44 hectares of Sauvignon and 11 hectares of Pinot Noir, vinified according to their terroir (clay-limestone, limestone, flint). The whites are traditionally vinified, while the pinot noir is macerated according to the vintage. The wines, certified organic and biodynamic, respect the lunar calendar.
