Between Sancerre and Pouilly, the only problem is choosing: the wines or the Loire, but why not both?
In 1945, Marcel Gitton founded the Gitton Père & Fils vineyards with half a hectare of vines. Today, the estate covers 33 hectares in Sancerre and Ménétréol, producing finely-crafted white wines such as the numbered-bottle Sancerre Galinot and the oak-aged Sancerre Les Herses. Sancerre Les Romains and rosé are made from pinot noir grapes. The estate also grows Pouilly wines, prized for their complexity and finesse, offering unique taste experiences appreciated by connoisseurs.
