La Blancherie, this house of the guards of the Loire, former building dating back to 1840, was reserved for candlelight for maintenance of the banks of the lateral canal in the Loire. His name comes from the launderers who were in the river. Suspended, threatened with destruction, Les Amis de la Blancherie (association 1901) has been doing everything to preserve it for years. From its windows, a breathtaking view of Charity-sur-Loire creates beautiful memories to come.
