She made Châteaumeillant known throughout France and Europe. The dimensions of Saint Genès, 52 m long and over 13 m wide, make it an important church. Built around 1150 stones in Saulzais, she managed to cross the time without significant alteration. At Fontgombault and Neuvy-Saint-Sepcre, it ranks at the forefront of the Romanesque Romanesque shrines. In Romanesque style, it has many carved capitals. As well as the church Notre-Dame-la-Petite, she is nicely illuminated in the evening. A visit to Santiago de Compostela road!
