Brinon-sur-Sauldre is also the country of Raboliot because the author Maurice Genevoix settled there a few weeks later and wrote his famous novel. Today we cannot avoid passing through the Maison de la Forêt. Located in front of Saint-Barthélemy church with its curious caquetoire, it sits in the same building as the postal agency and the tourist office. This small museum dedicated to the sologental sylve evokes by the tools presented and taxidermies of birds, in particular, the richness of nature around which trees with multiple essences offer the ambient air invigorating emanations.
