Since 1884, the Maison des Forestines has been delighting customers with its filled sweets and hand-crafted, gourmet creations.
In the heart of Bourges, the Maison des Forestines, founded in 1884 by confectioner Georges Forest, offers traditional sweets, including the famous forestine, the world's first filled bonbon. Under their satiny sugar shell, they reveal an almond and hazelnut praline, flavored with chocolate. The ephemeral boutique also offers a variety of chocolates and 'le fruiti', a fruity version created to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the forestine. Jean-François Tavernier, the current owner, continues the tradition, offering a gourmet journey for confectionery lovers. An exceptional address.
