EDWARD ANDRÉ'S GARDEN
The garden has a gentle slope and has been specially designed to allow people with reduced mobility to move around freely.
Created in 1985, the garden bears the name of the internationally renowned botanist Edouard André, born in Bourges in 1840. Entirely carried out in a gentle slope, the garden has been specially designed for people with reduced mobility to move freely: there are no steps and other obstacles, opportunities to participate in the flowering of raised elevated or beds accessible in wheelchairs. Open to all, this district garden offers a collection of peonies, rare trees and shrubs. An outdoor theatre presents animations in the summer. An original set and an approach geared towards the integration of all. The surroundings are pleasant and the paths are between the lush greenery. Children's games allow young people to swim while adults catch up in grass.
