Comic books are a big hit in the Centre region all year round with numerous festivals. These events are an opportunity to meet authors, designers and publishers, to discover the latest releases, to participate in debates, to attend beautiful exhibitions... Each year, a new theme is invited for the event. An overview of the comic book festivals from September 2014 to June 2015 to bubble up all year round.

Towers: Bubble Towers, September 10 to 15

Five days of animations, exhibitions, screenings, conferences around the comic strip in different places in the city: Cinema Studios, Ockeghem room, Châteauneuf square, Tours train station... And of course, during the weekend, authors and cartoonists will be on hand to sign autographs

Bourges: BulleBerry, October 4 and 5

Every year, this entirely free comic strip festival invests different heritage sites in the city of Bourges (the Palais Jacques Cœur, the Salle du Duc Jean...). On the programme: exhibitions, workshops, meetings and autographs with authors... this year on the theme of audacity.

Blois : BD Boum, November 21, 22 and 23

Great comic festival organized by the association BD BOUM, this festival has become, over the years, one of the most important events in France in honor of the 9th art. Every year, it welcomes about a hundred authors, about sixty exhibitors and some 20,000 visitors

Montlouis-sur-Loire: Manga sur Loire, February 14

For the seventh consecutive year, the city of Montlouis proposes an appointment around the manga: Manga sur Loire. This event, organized on the theme of Japanese comics, is an opportunity to highlight Japanese culture with exhibitions, manga workshops, illustrators' stands, presentations of martial arts, video games ... all with music and rhythm by dances.

Saint-Denis-en-Val : Bulles en Val, February 14th and 15th

14th edition of this festival, which each year features a wide variety of graphic styles to satisfy all age groups in a friendly atmosphere. Workshops, shows, tales, exhibitions, interventions of authors, bookstores, booksellers and publishers are organized throughout the 2 days
