This country bistro is a real institution in Sarzeau and the surrounding area. Having taken over the family business more than 30 years ago, Gwénaël Le Jendre doesn't want to let go of the torch, and for good reason, he likes to say: "I'm too much in love with this area to consider anything else" except getting on his Harley and travelling to more or less distant places. The Clifden, which was opened by his grandfather in 1925, has celebrated its 90th anniversary with rock bands, rockabilly, blues or traditional Celtic music.
