VILLA TRANQUILLITÉ

Maison superbe. J'ai apprécié le grand confort, et la beauté des chambres mais aussi les prestations annexes qui s'y rattachent (produits de bain mis à notre disposition). Elles sont décorées avec un goût exquis. Le grand salon est un ravissement et le petit déjeuner est superbe. Rapport qualité-prix excellent.

We really loved our three night stay here. The house is beautiful and well situated right on the canal so a perfect base for cycling or walking sections of the Nantes-Brest canal. ||Our room La Comtesse was comfortable with an enormous bed, beautiful views of the nearby weir/canal lock and a very short -and beautiful-walking distance from the bars, shops and restaurants of Rohan. ||Breakfast is a relaxed affair taken at a communal table and all three mornings we had lovely chats with other guests. There were warm breads and croissant freshly baked, local cheeses and yoghourts, fruit and cereal, fresh fruit juice and hot coffee. All local and many bio. There is an emphasis on avoiding waste but if something runs out, it is replenished. ||Bike storage was great and secure and parking was easy and free. The gardens were beautiful with an abundance of interesting plants and of course the resident peacocks and cats all making for a very peaceful and relaxing ambiance. ||However, for us, the delight was our hostess Agnès who is an interesting, intelligent and erudite lady full of helpful suggestions and warmth. I will envy her beautiful blue fish sculpture in the breakfast room forever! She was very happy to help with any queries we had and sends helpful and detailed notes before you arrive which will ensure your stay is smooth and happy. ||One warning though-this is not a hotel, you are not paying hotel rates and you are a guest in someone’s home and you are expected to respect that. None of the house rules are unreasonable or onerous but they exist to make things run smoothly. I would imagine that if you are hoping for a Formula 1 type pit stop to refuel at speed and with your pre-planned timetable you may get frustrated. Don’t! You’ve booked into Villa Tranquillité not Villa Utility so enjoy what it is-a place to recharge and relax in peace with a wonderful hostess. We loved it and very much hope to return.

Nous venons de rentrer de nôtre séjour et de nôtre passage dans cette superbe demeure, avec ces chambres à la décoration reposante et superbes. Petit déjeuner copieux avec tous les produits de la région et produits de la Villa et frais.
Le bonheur de partager ce moment avec les paons qui vadrouille autour de la Villa.

Merci pour votre accueil et le lieu magique. Les enfants ont adoré le petit déjeuner, observer les paons et ramener des plumes.

Une villa pleine de charme dans un cadre paisible , elle porte bien son nom , on a envie de pousser la porte .
