Ploërmel's astronomical clock invites you to travel back in time, to understand its workings through video, the museographic space, and so on

Ploërmel's astronomical clock is a must-see. Its precision is astonishing and invites you to travel back in time. Built by Brother Bernardin between 1850 and 1855 for his pupils, it became a Monument Historique in 1982. A short multilingual video invites us to understand its inner workings. The brothers at the reception desk of the Jean-Marie de La Mennais museum will be able to give you some explanations. Before you leave, be sure to visit the museum, the chapel and the bicentenary exhibition. The clock celebrates its 200th anniversary this year.
