The Lorient station was built to remind us of the maritime history of the city: long lines as thin as those of a boat, made of wood, full of transparency thanks to the many windows that let in the light. Inside, the design is ultra-modern with the large footbridge and escalators. 155 years after seeing the first train in Lorient, the new station has come a long way... Especially when we know that it now only takes us 3 hours to get to Paris! Outside, there's a huge forecourt that's very pleasant for pedestrians.

After major renovation work, Lorient station has been totally transformed, ensuring the best possible services for travelers. Trains will take you to Quimper on one side and to Vannes, Nantes and Paris on the other. Buses are also available at the adjacent bus station and will take you throughout the city, but also more widely in the rest of the department and Brittany. On the catering side, a Tibs offers you good and fresh products to accompany your trip or to taste on the spot.
