THE DOLLS AND TOYS MUSEUM
Visit of the Dolls and Toys Museum in Josselin, whose collection counts nearly 5,000 pieces.
The ancient stables of the castle houses the dolls in Antoinette de Rohan collection, which is started at the end of the 19th century by Herminie de Rohan, her husband's great-grandmother. Coming from all the European countries, some of these chubby-faced men and women have existed for three hundred years. Today, the collection has nearly 5,000 pieces including about 3,000 dolls as well as games, toys, stuffed animals, children's books, some of which are very rare. This is a magical and poetic place which takes the young and old into the land of the toy. Within the framework of its 30th anniversary, starting from 15th June 2014, Musée de Josselin reveals its treasures, all from this exceptional collection of dolls and toys.
