Megalithic complex of Petit Mont in Arzon, classified as a national interest since 1989, a starting point for hikes.

Perched at the tip of the Rhuys peninsula, the Petit Mont megalithic site has been classified as a site of national interest since 1989. The archaeological site, built in 4 phases between 5000 and 3000 BC on a promontory overlooking the ocean, was used from the outset as a strategic location by Neolithic man. The Petit Mont cairn, also a starting point for the GR®34, welcomes you during school vacations for fun activities and immersive workshops (interactive table, video projections, storytelling, archaeological digs).

L’un des 3 grands cairns du golfe mais celui ci a ube double histoire avec sa partie préhistoire et sa partie seconde guerre mondiale. Oui il est dommage que le site fut dégradé pour construire un bunker mais les explications à l'intérieur donnent une jolie idée de l’histoire du site

One of the nicest dolmen of the area, mostly well preserved. The museum in the old WW2 bunker is short but relatively informative. Around the cairn are a lot of hiking trails, very enjoyable.

Hay obras en el parking; no pudimos estacionar y una autocaravana tenía dificultades para maniobrar. Tampoco hay señales de "prohibido el paso" o avisos de que no se podrá dar la vuelta fácilmente.
