Boncoeur is a new vegetarian and gourmet corner in the Grand Quartier shopping center. The cookies are made in La Mézière, some ten kilometers away. Gourmet to the core, they are made from soy milk, shea, coconut and rapeseed oils, and are egg-free. The twenty or so recipes rival each other for deliciousness. We tasted mango-coconut and speculoos, but chocolate-caramel and peanuts; pistachio-raspberry; banana-chocolate also caught our eye. Some recipes are also gluten-free. Behind Boncoeur is Manon, a young pastry chef trained at the Ferrandi school who has been working on her recipes for cookies, muffins and other pastries since 2020.
