FESTIVART À SAINT-BRIAC

Every year for the past 3 years, the municipality of Saint-Briac has devoted itself fully to contemporary art for 4 days. Eight galleries and 6 venues are open to the public; two collections and a festival of artist videos are presented. The entire city is invested in its many places: the former presbytery, the halls, the convent and chapel of Wisdom, the business centre of L'Estran or even in Vigie, as well as the Atelier Garden of Monik Rabasté. Even the inhabitants improvise themselves exhibitors and open their gardens or houses so that visitors can come and discover their works of art. The festival gives pride of place to contemporary art, but also to youth. Eight young graduates are exhibiting at the municipal school Les Cap Horniers. A prize is even awarded by a jury composed of collectors and professionals. This event is organized by the Festivart Association and the city of Saint-Briac-sur-Mer.
