Margate means cuttlefish in maritime dialect, and it's also the name of the new fishmonger's on rue Saint-Hélier. At the helm, Marin and Xavier prepare delicious seafood platters featuring lobster, langoustines, wild shrimp, hollow oysters, whelks, periwinkles... The platters get even bigger for the festive season. We also source line-caught fish directly from Guilvinec or the Erquy coastal fishery. We love the variety of fish: from mullet and octopus to horse mackerel (delicious in ceviche!) and ikejime and Label Rouge salmon direct from Scotland. We can't wait to discover our home-smoked fish in autumn.
