GRAND-PÈRE JULES
Grand-Père Jules, Maison Coupel's new address, has found its place in the excellent Halles Centrale district. The patisserie is now produced on rue de Nemours. For the occasion, we went to rediscover the house's great classics: the Gentil coquelicot, the tarte Pacane and the sublime Paris-Brest. Pastry chef Estelle continues to train herself to combine sweetness and sugar reduction, and offers lactose- and gluten-free alternatives. The sourdough breads baked by Kevin and his team, including the famous Tourte aux Alouettes, are also featured.
