On the second floor of the Champs Libres, discover the permanent exhibition Bretagne est univers, retracing Breton history with 2,300 objects from the Palaeolithic to the present day: fossils, sarcophagi, Bigouden headdresses, traditional closed bed... A section is also devoted to a less-than-glorious episode in French history: the Dreyfus Affair. It was in the Breton capital that the Captain's retrial began in 1894. A museum full of daring, which also hosts rich temporary exhibitions.
