INSTITUT DE PRÉPARATION À L’ADMINISTRATION GÉNÉRALE (IPAG)
IPAG offers excellent preparation for competitive entrance exams. This public organization is part of the University of Rennes. Its mission is to prepare candidates, through both initial and continuing training, for competitive entrance exams to the three civil services and public or semi-public organizations. The IPAG prepares candidates for the state, regional and hospital civil services. It also prepares candidates for entry to schools such as the Instituts Régionaux d'Administration, the École Nationale Supérieure de la Sécurité Sociale, the École des Hautes Études en Santé Publique, the École Nationale des Finances Publiques or the École des Douanes. Candidates are selected on the basis of their applications, and more often than not have to pass a motivation interview to be admitted. Lastly, at the request of government departments, IPAG offers training courses to prepare civil servants for internal competitive examinations, or to update their knowledge in a variety of disciplines (law, public finance, public management, methodology of written and oral expression). The teaching team is made up of academics and professionals from the public and private sectors. IPAG also prepares students for a bachelor's degree in public administration (initial training, continuing education or sandwich courses) and master's degrees (public administration, law and governance in the health and social sector, Franco-Czech public administration). A very fine school with many qualities and guaranteed success!
