INSTITUT DE PRÉPARATION À L’ADMINISTRATION GÉNÉRALE (IPAG)

To prepare a contest, IPAG offers good preparations. This public body is a component of the University of Rennes 1, whose mission is to prepare candidates for a competition for access to the three public functions and public or parapublic institutions, both in initial training and in continuous training. The IPAG is therefore preparing for the State, territorial and hospital civil service. He is also preparing for entry into implementing schools such as the Regional Institutes of Administration, the National Superior School of Social Security, the Ecole des Hautes Etudes in Public Health, the National School of Taxes. Candidates must pass a general culture test for admission. Finally, at the request of administrations, IPAG sets up training courses for public officials in closed competitions or updating their knowledge in various disciplinary fields (law, public finances, public management, methodology of written and oral expression). The teaching team consists of academics and professionals from both the public and private sectors. It should also be remembered that IPAG is also preparing for a public administration license and a master's degree in the health and social sector.
