STADE RENNAIS FC

Football
4.4/5
9 reviews

Roazhon Park is the home of the red and black colours of Stade Rennais FC. Coached by Julien Stéphan, the Ligue 1 players have only one desire: "Give it all! "The 30,000-seat stadium knows how to set the city on fire. The animation village opens 2 hours before the match to vibrate before kick-off. Even if the "galette-saucisse" is an institution at half-time, attending the matches in VIP is a real art: presidential stands, pre-game cocktail, open bar, catering, champagne... A great evening for fans and non-specialists alike!

MODJO

Climbing
4.5/5

Modjo, an independent gym run by experienced enthusiasts, and its big bear deserve your full attention. The routes, which are redefined every week, are always interesting to tackle. Climbers exchange tips with each other and the atmosphere is great. The 500m2 climbing area includes an 8-metre-high rope wall with 11 lanes. As for the rest, bouldering to a maximum height of 4.50 meters is practiced without any special equipment, apart from adapted shoes. The hall is interesting with its 14 levels, and there's even an area dedicated to 4-6 year-olds. Courses and workshops are available to help you progress. Plus: systematic briefs! On-site facilities include a restaurant serving good food and a body-building area. Beware, you'll soon be hooked!

PISCINE DES GAYEULLES

Swimming pools
4.3/5
3 reviews

It's the relaxation pool of the Rennais. To swim: a 25 m pool, and for other water activities the swimming pool also has a 10 m dive pit that also hosts the apnea courses. But too much is needed after the effort. It has a large playground for small and large ones: a wave pool, a whirlpool pool, massage jets, a playful, high-tide course and a hammam! This is the whole spa aspect but with a municipal formula accessible to all! Including people with reduced mobility for whom the swimming pool provides specific facilities.

And when the beautiful days come, you can play the lizard outside and enjoy the deck. Very popular with its competitive prices and numerous equipment, we need to be a strategist to find a quiet niche. The night and the early morning are particularly appreciated. And the framework does not waste anything: At the end of the pool you will be nose-hearted with the biches that come to greet you, perfect to wait for his companions with serenity. And why not finish this relaxing session with a picnic in the park? Other activities are available right next door, to name but a few: the crescent of Forest Adrenaline, the arena at Blizz or even the Archery club…

The history of the TNB began in 1949. Formerly the Centre Dramatique de l'Ouest and the Maison de la Culture, the two structures merged to become this major theater venue with a fine national reputation. Directed by Arthur Nauzyciel, the TNB is a Centre Européen de Création Théâtrale et Chorégraphique, with a cinema and a École Supérieure d'Art Dramatique. The director is surrounded by some twenty associate artists, including Julie Duclos, Vincent Macaigne, Keren Ann and Mohamed El Khatib, all of whom contribute to the richness of the programming, which has nothing to envy the major Parisian theaters.
