Set back from the hustle and bustle of the city, the establishment offers a break in an exceptional setting. Nestled behind the Mordelaise gates, the last vestige of the town's medieval walls, Catherine and Pascale, two cousins, have been running Thé au Fourneau since 1987. It's a charming address, with its cake moulds on the walls and colorful lanterns. You'll enjoy refined teas like the Promenade des Anglais (black tea with apple, plum and almond) and mouth-watering home-made English-inspired pastries: scones, cheesecakes, carrot cake... but also crumble or apple charlotte. You can also enjoy lunch here. On the menu: savoury tarts, salads and tartines.

18h09. On se lève. pas d'au revoir. nul.
Very good pastries, less charming than as a preliminary and more than hateful: good half - an - hour waiting before the order is taken (with an obvious lack of friendliness) and another good half - hour waiting before being served, without the smile that does not really make you want to dating back!
