This neighborhood café has become one of Rennes' must-visit addresses. Located on the pretty Place de la Parcheminerie, Gang combines exposed stonework, rough concrete and mismatched wooden furniture. Come in the morning for a good start to the day with homemade granola or muffin bread served with fried egg, artisan ham and hollandaise sauce. At lunchtime, you'll love the eggplant and mizo dish of the day, concocted by chef Melou. Continuous service means you can sit down whenever you like to enjoy a specialty coffee and homemade pastry. Not to be missed: the spicy pumpkin syrup, koso, to be enjoyed without moderation in hot milk, with a cup of coffee!
