MAIRIE DE CHANTEPIE

Chantepie would draw its name from a Roman dialect, «Cantu-Pice» or «Cantu-Picœ», meaning «singing song». The town of Chantepie covers 1 198 hectares. The urban areas represent about 290 hectares and the areas in the process of urbanization or urbanisables 170 hectares. Its population represents more than 10 000 inhabitants.
