An interpretation center allowing to know everything about the aber Benoît and the aber Wrac'h.
The Maison des abers is an interpretation center for everything you need to know about Aber Benoît and Aber Wrac'h. Located on the dunes near Corn-ar-Gazel beach, it opened in 2010. The scenography focuses on the characteristics of an aber, the Breton word for ria. Environmental aspects (flora and fauna), economic aspects (oyster farming, agriculture, fishing, boating) and historical aspects are covered through videos, soundtracks and games for children. Playful and instructive, you'll come away knowing more about one of the special features of this coastline.

J'ai participé à un atelier de dessin au mois de Juillet. Très bon accueil et ambiance sympathique. Dommage que le mauvais temps ne nous ait pas permis d'aller dessiner la nature en extérieur. Atelier très adapté aux enfants.

Nous avons participé à l'atelier "un trésor dans une goutte d'eau" avec mon fils de 7 ans. Nous avons trouvé cette animation très ludique et enrichissante. Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil, l'ambiance était conviviale. Comme dit mon fils: "Ce n'était pas bien, c'était génial !". Nous avons pu aussi visiter le musée et nourrir les animaux de l'aquarium ????.Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir découvrir d'autres activités avec le reste de la famille. Merci pour votre accueil !

Un lieu parfait pour égayer une journée pluvieuse, en jouant pendant qu'on apprend, avec les enfants. La personne à l'accueil était bilingue du pays, un plus dans une région où parfois, il est compliqué d'entendre la sonorité de la langue bretonne lors de visites.
