Plouvien is home to meat producer Angus des Abers. However, it is important to note that the company is in the process of relocating to a new site at Pors Richard, in the commune of Cast, near Châteaulin. This decision was taken to expand the Aberdeen Angus herd and meet growing demand. Angus des Abers offers a range of fresh and tasty meat parcels, adapted to culinary habits, family composition and season. Packages can be collected directly from the farm in Pors Richard, but can also be shipped anywhere in France for an additional fee. Packages are made up of different cuts of meat, individually vacuum-packed and labeled with all the necessary information. Meat can be stored in the refrigerator for 6 to 9 days after cutting, or in the freezer before the best-before date.
