Pointe Saint-Mathieu is a highly emblematic site in Finistère

Pointe Saint-Mathieu is one of Finistère's jewels of history, legend and spectacular panoramas. Along its cobbled path, you'll discover a XIXᵉ century lighthouse with a red lantern, the ruins of a thousand-year-old abbey, and the Memorial to sailors who died for France. This place steeped in history, where according to legend the body of the apostle Mathieu was rescued from the waves, invites contemplation. Take a break on the GR34, which crosses this enchanting site, and let yourself be captivated by the view over the Goulet de Brest, between spirituality and wilderness.

A voir !
