Lighthouse offering a breathtaking view of the Molène archipelago, Crozon peninsula, Pointe du Raz and surrounding countryside.
Surrounded by Saint-Mathieu Abbey and the National Memorial to Sailors who Died for France, the Saint-Mathieu lighthouse offers a breathtaking view from its summit. Once you've climbed the 163 steps, you'll love the breathtaking view! Although the lighthouse has not been manned for almost two decades, it still serves as a landmark for sailors. The lower part, formerly used as a lighthouse keeper's quarters, has been converted into a tourist information point and exhibition hall. Please note: Visits are subject to favorable weather conditions.
