This museum, inaugurated in 1992, is the only one in France to retrace the history of this tasty red fruit. From the arrival of a new variety of strawberry in the 18th century to its cultivation, everything is explained! The museum offers a varied scenography that also allows you to understand the heritage of Plougastel-Daoulas. Temporary exhibitions and many activities are added to the museum's programme. Open all year round. Low season: Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5.30pm; weekends from 2pm to 5.30pm. High season: Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm; Sunday from 2pm to 6pm. July and August: Monday to Friday from 10am to 7pm, Sunday from 2pm to 6.30pm. Out of season: contact the museum. Free up to 7 years old. Adult: 5 €. Children (from 7 to 11 years old): 2 €. Reduced rate : 3,50 € / 4 €. Large family: 12 €. Holiday voucher. Elevator. Guided tour. Shop. Animations.

Je ne connaissais pas les habits que portaient les anciens et donc le fameux bonnet rouge...j'ai découvert des peintures de Mary Piriou une bonne surprise!

Très bonnes prestations.nous avons eu une guide au TOP. Très gentille et avenante, elle connait très bien son sujet et tout notre groupe(20 personnes) a apprécié cette visite.je recommande sans problème.
