This megalith is located on the foreshore and served as a collective tomb

Plouescat is full of prehistoric remains, not always easy to find. The covered alley of Guinirvit, in the bay of Kernic, is a good example. Now partly in ruins, this megalith is located on the foreshore and was used as a collective grave. The menhirs are other witnesses of this period. The 7-metre-high menhir at Cam Louis and the one at Pors Ar Streat are particularly noteworthy. The one at Kougn An Dre was classified as a historical monument in 1970.

Not easy to find in the entrance to the bay of Kernic to see before it disappears by erosion from the tides
