Real industrial adventure, La Compagnie Bretonne du Poisson is equally the history of a family, that of Furic. A family from the Bigouden area, proud of its roots and love of the sea. Canner from father to son, but also from mother to daughter for three generations, there is no need to doubt the expertise of the family... Fish canners who work with only fresh produce in workshops which are located close to the port of Saint-Guénolé (first sardine port of the hexagon). This is where Jean-François and Sten Furic, father and son get to very early in the morning so as to wait for the arrival of bolincheurs so as to choose the most beautiful pieces of fish that arrives at the dock. Tuna, mackerel, sardines, monkfish are then cooked with love and talent so as to transform them to sardines, mackerel fillets in sauce, flaked tuna with wakame seaweed or liver monkfish (called by many amateurs "foie gras of the sea"...). You should note that: Visits to the factory is free in summer and a shop is located on the site. The company also has other stores in Guilvinec, in Bénodet, in Guerande Pont l'Abbé and Quiberon.
Ce n'est pas celle en façade sur le port, mais celle juste derrière, donc en contournant la première.
Très bon accueil avec dégustation de soupe de poisson.
Achats de fameuses rillettes de sardines et de thon.
