The wines are matured in barrels for 12 months before being offered for tasting. Welcome to a family of passionate winegrowers who manage their vineyard in organic and biodynamic methods, with the double certification Ecocert and Biodyvin. The Barthelmé family manages with love and harmony their domain which is among the most successful of the Alsatian vineyard. These good practices allow the Domaine Albert Mann to produce surprisingly balanced wines. Examples include the 2019 Gewurztraminer (Trophée du Meilleur Vin Moelleux/Doux Elle à Table 2021) and the 2018 Pinot Noir Les Saintes Claires rated 96/100 by the Revue des Vins de France.

This family business took off in 1947 thanks to Ernest Butterlin and his wife Léa Mann. Their son Jean is responsible for the 8 ha of the estate. The vines are spread over 30 parcels including the Grand Cru Steingrübler. The family cultivates its vines in the respect of the traditional methods: reasoned fight and manual grape harvests. They produce wines full of character, such as the Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Hengst 2020 with its smoky nose (rosehip, apricot) or the Riesling Grand Cru Steingrubler, with its mineral and candied citrus notes.
