Delightfully nestled in the vineyards between Éguisheim and Colmar, the town of Wettolsheim has a surprise in store for you: an exact replica of the grotto at Lourdes! It was built in 1912 at the request of Monsignor Schoepfer on the ruins of his birthplace. In addition to this tourist attraction, Wettolsheim also boasts an archaeological site on the Koenigsbreite. Numerous discoveries have been made here: flint tools dating from the Neolithic period, houses on stilts, tombs... Wettolsheim is also home to some excellent winegrowers, brilliantly exploiting the Grands Crus of Steingrubler, Hengst and Pfersigberg.
