Read moreOn each side of the Elorn, a church was built. This river was the natural boundary between the two former counties, Léon and Cornwall, who had their own diocese. The right bank of Leo, the church of Saint-Houardon, was completely moved to the th century. Closer to the river initially, she could no longer welcome all parishioners. Reconstruction and expansion work lasted 3 years, from 1848 to 1861. The porch has a finely worked porch and a walk with a turret with stairs. On the left Bank of Cornwall, St. Thomas Church was also rebuilt in the th century under the direction of architect Bigot.
