Since 1878, when it was founded near the old port of Le Rosmeur, the Hôtel de France has been part of the heritage of Douarnenez and the local landscape: it has lived the history of the town as a privileged witness and continues to bear its colours. The Prestige rooms can accommodate 3 to 4 people and are ideal for family stays. The hotel's restaurant, l'Insolite, offers creative and of course authentic Breton cuisine... Located in the heart of the city, this hotel has a shaded terrace and even a banquet room with a starry sky. Please note that a secure bicycle garage is at your disposal free of charge.

Restaurant : à la hauteur de sa réputation, cuisine raffinée.
Réceptionniste très agréable, et souriante ca fait plaisir.
La chambre a eu un rafraîchissement de la peinture mais le mobilier reste vieillot et abîmé, salle de bain avec une baignoire bouchée et un rideau de douche en plastique basique..
Rien a dire sur la propreté..
Pour une chambre à 140€ on s attend à mieux même en haute saison.
Côté petit déjeuner tout était parfait, un accueil agréable..on vous explique le buffet. Tout est fait maison les cakes les gâteaux là brioches et la confiture bravo à la cuisine.
