RESTAURANT L'INSOLITE
Restaurant in Douarnenez with a menu including homemade dishes with fresh local products and spices from far away.
Gaël Ruscart and Philippe Clauss, former chefs at the Martinez de Cannes, combine their talent with the Unusual to compose, in a menu renewed every three months, homemade dishes based on fresh local produce, farmers, topped with distant spices. They did not choose this place by chance because it breathes Brittany with its enclosed beds on the walls and its modern paintings. For example, you can salivate in front of the monkfish petals cooked with mother-of-pearl, artichoke foam and crispy vegetables with candied lemon, black curry crumble, scallops just snacked with kombawa cream and parsnip slices, black wheat popcorn, sweet almond emulsion or even the quail stuffed with caramelized quince and red cabbage ballotine with spices, reduced juice... Desserts side: the Dôme of white chocolate with lime and hazelnut financial, sour compote and crunchy meringues.... We don't know what to choose anymore! Of course, from land to sea, the two friends show a pretty creative side. It is not for nothing that they have been accumulating prestigious titles and awards since 2012. Note also that the establishment is also a Logis 2 chimneys hotel, which offers 22 comfortable rooms.
