A remarkable botanical park in Combrit, a veritable Eden of English-style gardens, one of the most interesting parks in Brittany.

Created in 1981, the botanical park of Cornouaille presents one of the richest collections of plants in Brittany, on 45 000 m²: 25 000 plants, 3 500 species from all over the world make up this magnificent English park. The flowering period from March to October will offer you a real explosion of shapes, scents and colours. Labelled Remarkable Garden in 2005, the park has been part of the European Garden Route since 2015.

Ein toller botanischer Garten. Nicht zu teuer und wundervoll angelegt. Leider waren die Rhododendren größtenteils schon durch mit der Blüte, aber es gibt unglaublich viel zu sehen und in der bienenfreundlichen Gegend auch zu riechen. Besonderes Augenmerk verdient die liebevoll angelegte Teichanlage. Libellen und Frösche fühlen sich wohl. Wer sich für Mineralien interessiert, bekommt eine schöne Sammlung im kleinen Saal hinter der Kasse gezeigt. Mir persönlich fehlte nur ein Cafe, aber die Stadt ist nicht weit.

Il faut vraiment pas rater ce parc extraordinaire. Des érables splendides et variés. En ce moment il y a encore des fleurs sur les camélias et les magnolias. Et surtout les rhododendrons et les azalées explosent de fleurs. Et des hortensias grimpants magnifiques et les cornus. J’en ai pris plein les yeux et plein de bonheur.
Bravo aux horticulteurs c’est un travail colossal.
Quelle récompense !!!!
