Tower built in the century, home to works by Jim Sévellec, which recreate the streets of pre-1939 Brest.

Known as the "Quilbignon bastille", it was built in the 14th century opposite Brest castle, on the right bank. The tower houses the works of Jim Sévellec, who recreates the streets of pre-1939 Brest (models, slideshows, photos...). Each floor has its own journey: on the1st floor, you can learn about Brest's key events; on the2nd floor, you can stroll through Brest's picturesque squares; and the3rd floor is only accessible during certain events. After 7 months of renovation, the site has been given a new, more attractive scenography.

Visite totalement gratuite .

This place was a pleasant surprise. We came across it whilst walking around Brest and didn't realise there was a free museum inside to discover scenes from historic Brest made with little sculpted characters. Great for adults and children. Also you get a great view over Brest from the top and a very friendly welcome from the hosts!
