A facility to observe exotic spaces and reptiles such as turtles, lizards, vipers and frogs.

This associative terrarium, a reference establishment in its field, allows you to observe reptiles and amphibians in two distinct areas: an outdoor course where turtles, lizards, snakes, vipers and frogs evolve in their natural environment, and a vivarium with a tropical atmosphere, where you can meet exotic species (anacondas, pythons, monitors, cobras, geckos...). The creator of the place, a former policeman with a passion for reptiles, has at heart to make these animals, often feared or unloved, better known to the general public.

Opening time and information on KERDANET TERRARIUM

Open from the beginning of April to the end of September and during the All Saints' and February holidays. Open all year round for groups, by reservation. July-August: open every day from 2pm to 6:30pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and weekends from 10am to 12:30pm. Holidays: every day (except Monday) from 2pm to 6pm. May, June, September: Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, from 2pm to 6pm. Free for children up to 4 years old. Adults: 8,50 €. Children (4 to 12 years old): 6,50 €. Group (15 people): 7,50 € (5,50 € children). Caretaker's day (from 10 years old): 50 €. Holiday vouchers. Guided tour (for groups, on reservation).

Le jardin est superbe, une mini jungle avec petites mares, sources, rochers, tout ce qui sert de cache pour les animaux.
Visité hier, avec une partie du jardin fermée car certains animaux sont en hibernation. Mais en plein été, ce doit être bien plus agréable.
Certains commentaires se plaignent du prix de la visite. Après explications, il faut comprendre que l'entretien coûte cher, le chauffage, les lumières, la nourriture, l'installation des structures, (bravo pour tout ce travail). Le vivarium m'a permis de voir des serpents d'une taille impressionnante, boas, pythons, anacondas iguane ... J'ai appris que ces animaux proviennent tous de sauvetage,
saisis après maltraitance, incompétences de certains à vouloir garder ces animaux en captivité.
J'ai aussi eu le plaisir de voir un superbe rouge gorge se poser à un mètre de moi.
Il y a longtemps que je n'en vois plus près de chez moi. Beaucoup d'oiseaux d'ailleurs que l'on ne voit plus dans certains endroits.
