The Station LPO de l'Île Grande, located in Pleumeur-Bodou, is a must for nature lovers. Located on the shore of Île Grande, it is the home of the Sept-Îles National Nature Reserve. Visitors will discover a museography dedicated to the remarkable ecosystem of this archipelago, preserved since 1912. The program includes videos, multimedia content, a diorama recreating a cliff with the species of birds and grey seals that inhabit the reserve, as well as interactive modules on the flora and fauna of the Sept-Îles, the foreshore and the underwater world. The highlight of the visit is live observation of the gannet colony on Ile Rouzic, thanks to a camera installed next to them. The Île Grande LPO Station also offers guided nature outings and a specialized nature store. A care center for wild animals in distress is also available, but cannot be visited.
