Built in the 15thcentury at the head of the Rance ria, the Prat mill used tidal energy. It ceased operations in the 1920s. Today, it has been completely restored and its millstones are once again turning as they once did. You'll discover exhibitions on the origins and techniques of milling, sea mills, the hydraulic motor and slide shows on the fifteen or so tide mills on the Rance, of which the Prat is the only one still in working order today.
