Armor Navigation organizes guided walks to discover the pink Granite, Penthièvre or Emerald coast from the sea

We have tested for you the walk from Erquy to Cap Fréhel. The 2h15 of stroll to the rhythm of the chop, refreshed from time to time by the spray, offers a unique show at the Cap Fréhela privileged landmark for seabirds. Mathieu, our sailor, greets the passengers before leaving to discover this classified natural site. Thomas and Romain, our guides for this guided tour, teach us to observe, interpret and understand the fauna, flora and heritage we encounter. And did you know that Erquy ranks 4th among the largest French fishing ports?

Punctuated by anecdotes, legends and historical landmarks, the visit is not without interest. We learn the origin of the name of the beach in Les Sables d'Or or how to distinguish a seabird from its land-based counterparts. On 10 km of coastline, we follow the Cap d'Erquy, its beaches and coves, the quarries (the cobblestones of Fréhel still cover the Place de l'Etoile in Paris), the islet of Saint-Michel, Le Cap Fréhel, the ornithological reserve of La Fauconnière - guillemots, penguins Torda, cormorants, gannets - then we finish with the majestic castle of Fort La Latte.

New in 2018: day trips are available from Erquy to Saint Cast-Le-Guildo or even to Saint-Malo for those who wish.
